Glee is an American musical comedy-drama television series that airs on Fox. Glee Seasons 1-2 DVD focuses on a high school show choir (also known as a glee club), called "New Directions!", set within the fictional WilliamMcKinleyHigh School in Lima, Ohio. The pilot episode of the show was broadcast after American Idol on May 19, 2009, and the first season began airing on September 9, 2009. On September 21, 2009, Fox officially gave the series a full-season pick-up. Glee aired its mid-season finale on December 9, 2009 and will have a 4-month hiatus before returning on April 13, 2010 with the remaining 9 episodes of the season. On January 11, 2010, Fox President, Kevin Reilly announced at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that Glee has been renewed for a second season.

  I really hate things that are more popular than they deserve, and this show definitely qualifies, which is part of why I hate this show so much now.

  The musical performances in all episodes are perfect and most of these characters have only one more year left in high school, and one more shot at Nationals. All the dream will come true!

  I watched several episodes online a few times because I am so addicted.Lindsay Pearce was actually the only one that made me excited in glee's comeback season (you know, besides hummelberry).

  Yeah,the show is enjoyable for teenagers, using songs on the show the same time they're charting as new hits, but I think the show is a little childish. The sweet, humorous characters in the show are a big identity for fans.

  The most impressive point of the Glee for me is that some songs in the show is beautiful and the actors have a nice voice.
