Law and Order Special Victims Unit premiered on September 22, 2010 on NBC and concluded on May 18, 2011. The timeslot was moved from 10 p.m. (ET) to 9 p.m. (ET) for the NBC broadcast in 2010. For the first time since the series premiered the new season started off with a two-part premiere.

 

Law and Order Special Victims Unit DVD 1-12 delves into the dark side of the New York underworld as the detectives of a new elite force, the Special Victims Unit, investigate and prosecute various sexually oriented crimes, while trying to balance the effects of the investigation on their own lives. This is the BEST show! Mariska Hargitay (Detective Olivia Benson) and Christopher Meloni (Detective Elliot Stabler) are great for the 2 parts and work so well together. The cases are based on real cases and if I didn't know they are all actors i'd say it IS real.

  There are too many sex abuses including rape, incest, child abuse, statutory rape, and more in the show. Maybe it's violent for kids. But the show is really outstanding, the plot are compelling.

  This is the best cop show I have seen and mixed with humor, twists, romance, action, gunfights and death, justice and so on. Fabulous!

  I think the show is bold which focuses on sexual crimes, normally not dealt with on television. The main crimes are rape, child molestation, and everything in between.

  I love Joan cusack in the story so much, and excellent performance. sometimes the black side in life is also educational for us.

  Best season premiere SVU have in a long time, this is love. From SVU Excellent performance, the guest stars. Joan cusack especially outstanding performance in as a paranoid, sorrow, mother. I don't want to give anything, but I highly recommend Locum...
