Army Wives is a show that centers on a group of women who are married to soldiers who are based at one particular post. This has been a really successful television show!

The whole episode in Army Wives dvd 1-5 was about family, and that no matter where you go, the family you make along the way will always be a part of your life. I can only hope that this means the majority of our characters will be sticking around for season six.

Hollywood has a way of making that happen, but I'd venture to guess we will lose one or two wives along the way.

One scene in Army Wives dvd is of Joan and Roland discussing the base shutting down, where she tells him, “You sacrificed a lot for me. Whatever happens next, we’ll decide it together. Deal?” Forgetting for a moment that she’d never live up to that agreement, it would have been nice to see her acknowledge her husband for once, and pledge to involve him in a decision that affects their family.

There is no easy way to deal with that kind of loss. As a viewer, it was emotional to learn who'd died and my eyes filled with tears.

The Army Wives seems set to continue for a long run and has perhaps hit a nerve for hundreds of thousands of real life wives and husbands whose partners are serving in the armed forces.

The music played on Army Wives is varied and focuses mainly on lesser-known artists but the exposure they get on the show will help them become established favorites. An Army Wives soundtrack is expected to be released in the near future.

I think the army wives dvd box set is a good gift for your mom because it's a show about women and their life. It's worth the money just for that.
