I really enjoy Hugh Laurie's journey with compassionate, thoughtful surgeon in the popular medical show House MD.

Each episode in house md dvd 1-7 usually sees House, an expert at diagnosing rare or complicated medical conditions, and his team using unconventional methods to cure patients with conditions he deems "interesting" while deciphering the person's expected lies.

It was reported that Hugh Laurie had opted to end the run of Fox's House because he was tired of the show. "There are very few things in life that are so deliciously enjoyable that you want to do them for 16 hours a day, every day - including sex and fine dining," Hugh Laurie told a London newspaper.

"It's the coming to work over and over again. You know, we have done 170 episodes now, I think. That’s about 50-60 feature films-worth.

After much deliberation, the producers of House M.D. have decided that this season of the show, the eighth, should be the last. And Hugh Laurie will leave after the season 8.

Hugh Laurie really needs a break. Let me state, publicly and unequivocally, that I love my job, and work much harder at it than most journalists work at theirs. As described in the press release, we wanted to preserve some of the character's mystique. We never wanted to out-stay our welcome.

Laurie will end his years as Dr. House without regrets or - it seems - the Emmy award for Best Actor, for which he had been nominated nearly every year since the show began in 2004 but never won.
